Academic and administrative staff members are invited to apply for a professional development training programme devoted to entrepreneurial skills and effective cooperation internally (among university staff) and externally - with business representatives. The training course will take place in Riga and will be hosted by the University of Latvia (18-23 July, 2016).
The scope of the intensive course is broad and it will be an opportunity to share and exchange best practices and learn more about university-business cooperation schemes both at the administrative and academic level. Apart from workshops, lectures and working sessions, there will be visits to local enterprises and a rich social programme.
Core areas of the training programme are:
- 21st century methodology of entrepreneurship skill training
- Innovative settings to trigger entrepreneurial and transversal competences
- Effective information management, optimization of internal and external communication flows, increased collaboration among university staff members and usage of modern technologies.
This is the second intensive programme organized as an integral part of project #europehome and it will allow 30 participants from 5 project partner universities (University of Alcala (Spain), University of Aveiro (Portugal), University of Latvia (Latvia), Lodz University of Technology (Poland), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece)) to focus on professional and entrepreneurial skills.
