On November 6th, all the #europehome project partners met for the second time during the Annual Meeting II. The meeting was hosted by the European University Foundation in Luxembourg and was both an opportunity to plan and review the implementation of the project, as well as an excellent chance for networking and building synergies with other university representatives.
At the beginning of November, all the #europehome project partners met to discuss the progress of the project, present materials that have been developed and engaged in planning the upcoming activities and larger scale events, for instance, dissemination conference in Lodz and Intensive Programme in Riga, which will take place in 2016. We were also glad about the presence of business representatives (Ms Sara Prior from Advantic Systems (Spain)) which allowed exploring the perspective of the labour market actors.
In addition to that, the project #europehome was present at the Higher Education Open Space (http://uni-foundation.eu/higher-education-open-space) organised by the European University Foundation where #europehome initiative was discussed in one of the working sessions.
In parallel to the #europehome meetings, a Kick Off meeting of the project #empl-oi took place in Luxembourg. Project #empl-oi (European Mobility PLacements for Open Innovation) is a Strategic Partnership project (KA2) and will both complement #europehome activities as well as add new dimensions in addressing student employability, for instance by focusing on social entrepreneurship. The project will be coordinated by the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) and will be carried out by 11 partners: 5 Universities (University of Alcala, University of Lodz, University of Naples Federico II, Vytautas Magnus University, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis); 4 companies: ADVANTISYS, FESTO, FRP - Foundation for Entrepreneurship, LVK - Lithuanian Business Confederation and 2 networks: European University Foundation, Erasmus Student Network.
We wish our colleagues a great success and we are looking forward to further collaboration!
