Lodz University of Technology

Lodz University of Technology (TUL) is a large technical university with over 20,000 students studying at 39 different fields of study in the first and second cycle programmes. The University ranks fourth in the Best Technical University category.

The University encompasses 8 engineering faculties, the Faculty of Organization and Management and the International Faculty of Engineering where the curricula are taught entirely in English or French. TUL possesses both the ECTS Label and the DS Label and more than 1300 students have graduated from programs offered in foreign languages. The National Erasmus Agency awarded the University with the title of ‘Mobility Friendly University’.

As one of the biggest universities in the country, TUL plays an important role in increasing the economy’s competitive edge not only in the Lodz region but also on the national and international arenas. TUL’s Technology Transfer Centre together with its Technology Transfer Office provide support for effective cooperation of the academic community and business.
